'Marriage Is A 2 Syllable Word' Poem by Brytanne Lee

'Marriage Is A 2 Syllable Word'

Rating: 0.5

Today was like death ran over me
I looked up at the willow tree
I bleed black
From the love it lacked
I fell to my knees in pain
Watching the blood flow down the drain
Bodies watch me spinning around
While the blood drips of my white gown
Marriage is what he asked
But I did not know the man behind the mask
The diamond was a lie
It was the only thing that made me cry
All I ever asked for was love
But the pull off the glove
All I see is black now
And al I have to say is that one vow
Till death do us part
I could feel it in my heart
I lie down and fall into death
As I take in my last and only breath
