Marriage Limerick Poem by Grace Diane Jessen

Marriage Limerick

Rating: 5.0

Any young married person, of course,
Always has ample grounds for divorce.
You just have to decide
That you're there for the ride.
If it's bumpy, you don't blame the horse.

Wes Vogler recommended you. Quite right too. This is a great Limerick and I'll put it in my favourites list.

i'm not sure if this is promoting or defying divorce. i saw a note saying you are Kim B's sister. my condolences. i guess you are saying blame the riders, not the horse(s) ? i'd agree. bri ;)

No truer words were ever spoken. Great limerick. It has the ideal number of syllables per line (9,9,6,6,9) and the rhymes are perfect. Fantastic job!
