Surrounded by others who so often beguile
What truly lies behind that charming smile
The closer you are, the less you'll see
Nothing's what it seems, that's the only guarantee
Society handed us too many tasks
Now We're nothing more than a collection of masks
Friends or strangers the lines are blurred
Everyone seeks to blend into the heard
Surrounded by the faceless horde
No one wants to be ignored
So many Covered in glitz and glamor
Anything to join the clamor
What truly lies beneath the ardent veil
In the end we're all quite frail
So dawn your mask and join the fray
Life is just one long play
