Materialism Poem by Freeyad Ibrahim

Materialism

I don't know how those who
Boost
Humanity and civil life
forget their children and wife
when it comes to money
blood becomes less of value
than a rusty dusty knife
They forget an Eastern soul
is worthier than a Western pony.
