Today
As I sit
Under the locust tree
It is 74 degrees
In Hangzhou
This is the temperature
An objective measurable
Phenomenon that is real
It is a small part
Of a more complex reality
All in Hangzhou face today
While the average person
Finds this temperature comfortable
The frail and old
May find it cool
And those with
Certain cases of hormonal imbalances
May feel too hot
On every level
All reality is proving
To be the same
It is not some figment
Or construct of the mind
Our response to this objective reality
May be individualized
But on an ongoing basis
Objective reality
Is proving to be
Something separate and independent
To what people think
Not merely a construct
Of our minds
It is a fool
Who thinks otherwise.

on Youtube Lecture 4: Objective Reality by Prof David Kelley is good at clarifying this matter.

There are still objective laws within physics that govern how the cosmos operates and there is a concrete objective reality we face everyday in the form of physical structures etc Sometimes the subjective reality is a response to and underlying obejective reality. Such as if I come around a corner in my car and there is a large boulder in the middle of my lane then I must swerve to avoid it.
