Maybe Poem by Lone Ghost

Maybe

I don't know who you are
Nor how do you look alike

I get closer,
You get further away

I begin to believe
I am shadow of your light
That will never ever catch up

Maybe if I stop seeking desperately...

I can read the map of my heart
And find your buried treasure
on time

When the sun still shines
And the moon solaces our minds

maybe...

Maybe it's too late and your living treasure, buried,

Fossilizes to death

In such case,
I will take it with me,

And place it high on the main shelf
Of the museum of my heart,

So I can always remember,

Expeditions to find the treasure
in the lands of your love

Are always destined to failure
When desperately seeking around.

Only in patience, my heart's metal detector can take the time to notice

the weight of your gold-galvanized heart...

Maybe.
