Me and you,
we can sit in the quiet
but you know I’ll break first

you’re a different part of me
you give me the harsh
words that touch my tongue

Leaving me at my lowest
of low
you won’t care
we both hate the fighting
but you will keep them going

I’ll be fighting you
but you’ll continue to defeat
me deteriorate me
but I won’t tell

I’ll hide for you
deep within me soul, my heart
sometimes I feel you are
my worst
my biggest secret.
