Mice Poem by Roni Lane

Mice

A small tail is seen quickly going around the table.
The body connected to it stares at me,
Making my heart pound.

Five mice playing together,
Going in and out of the chair legs.
One sits down
Next to me,
Gazing up and
Making my heart melt.
The eyes of this mouse
Were an icey blue.
Brighter than any other mouse...
