Middle Of Life's Crises Poem by Roger Snow

Middle Of Life's Crises

Some other Sun
With a Pleasant Shine

Another other One
with a Crescent atop their Shrine

Some Goddess on a Midnight Tour
Comes to survey the Land of Mortal Fear

Tell me now, ,
which you'd rather have, , ,

Money or Freedom, ,
which is the Better Half?

I'd sing,
but the throat went dead

I'd pray
all prayers, already been said

Some God upon his Bed
Screams out inside your Head

and all the while, , ,
Delusion rules the Land

Confused and Blind
You Wonder why you live

well Life ain't for taking

it's meant to give, , ,

Tomorrow's Hind Sight
will not fix today

To get it right
adjust the way you Play

or just step aside
and allow my healing Hand

Incoming Tide
Playing with this Band

You say that it's all their Fault

I say you're a Liar
your heart's Dark and Cold
as any Vault

Some Goddess on a Midnight Tour

Visits your Heart and Mind

fills them with Fear, , , ,

Ain't it a Shame,
when what's gone wrong, , ,

To find you're to Blame
for most the words within this Song ~~~~~~
