Midnight Angel Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Midnight Angel

Rating: 5.0

O' Angel Midnight, take my heart while I sleep
And never let me love
So, the pain can stop hurting
And take my wounded body
As you use it for fuel
Let it burn
So, once again, I can walk
Without shame

Pain of separation kills and there is no respite other than the real cause is with us. The pain of loneliness nicely expressed. Full stars*****
