Across the silent, dirt pathway,
The radiant stars twinkled in May;
The young lady skipped to the park,
To meet the man under the arc;
To see his mesmerising eyes again,
And to stop herself from going insane
To wrap her in his long arms,
Put together their eager palms,
And in that utopic premise,
According to the solemn promise;
Underneath the shining moon,
To marry her very soon
But alone he was not there,
Instead she felt her one heart tear;
He wrapped another woman in his arms,
And put on her his eager palms;
Ready for death she ran back,
And stabbed her heart with a tack……
