Mind Self Poem by Louie Levy

Mind Self

'The presence of mind that is unique to ones self,
are but captive auras desperately needing to emit
their treasures of happiness, unpredictably. predictable.'

'We wish of the Thespian Genies to grant us all a
common wish, and when their grants are other than acceptable,
we cork their bottles and critique them to oblivion.'

'Clowns wear their masks and
we laugh at their antics, however,
should they be seen with an exposed tear,
we demean their humanity for reminding us
of our own masked sorrows.'
