I come to you not as I wish
Broken words veil drowned desire
Silence was sealed with a sombre kiss
I look to you as if I don’t know
The shared skin I so easily let go
Cold the companion I now hold
I cry to you as if you can hear
All the carried pain and fear
Sad that I seek to disappear
I give to you all that I am
Embrace me for I no longer can
Lest this silence speak
And reveal me
