Mirth Poem by greg richardson

Mirth

Malevolent words
fill my mouth
but I swallow them
rather than spit them out
Take heed
I have no creed
only words
I learned
when I smoked weed.
The rest is drivel
and will disappear
but my medicated moments
will steer
this ship
out of the depths
of madness
and set me firmly
on the earth
for Pakalolo
brings the soul
mirth.
