Mirza And Métis Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Mirza And Métis

Mirza and Métis

Wonder if the cats, dogs,
Or the rest of the animals,
Domestic and in the wild,
Talk about the Genesis! ! !

Sure, we do,
What blood?
Where from?

On the globe to the Bible,
From Abraham and Israel
Even the ‘Ten Lost Tribes! "
We highlight backgrounds!

Is this not a sickness,
All over the sphere,
Mestizos, Half-breeds,
And Mirza, and Métis?

I am right before the last!

Were born too far away,
Both in time and place,
Our parents never met,
Suppliers, birth givers,
Siblings, we remain,
Like brothers, sisters,

In our veins, our blood,
Is a mix, victimized,
Colonizers, colonized!

Some call us mix-blood,
Some call us, half-bloods,
Some call us the hybrids,
Some Mirza, some Metis.

I feel like the dog with,
Poodle Cells and Huskey,
Middle-sized, cute, rich,
But neither that nor this!
