Misery Poem by Leonard Ninwie

Misery

Rating: 4.0

The night is dull and mudded
The rains are relentless and
The sun has gone to bed too early
His brows nipped by the cold
Winds whistling with mood
I stepped out into the streets
But the paths have had their full
And the redundant waters pool
Like the spots on a leopard’s skin
Even the ever dancing stars are sad
I sat under a tree to think but
She too have had enough
We cried together under the burden
Of a dark and flat sky with a sullen moon
