Missed Dearly Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Missed Dearly

The delicate taste of one's innocense
Capturing the fountain of youth
Beauty is she who has no unending charm
Bitterly though we grieve the loss
Frustrated thoughts causes cascading tears
The pain that dwells within
Builds itself to a capacity to hurt severely
What's the beauty in her now?
If she now belongs to the wind
Life goes on although death takes one
The sour taste of one's absence
Capturing the pain from the deceased
Beauty was she who had unending charm
Tragicly though, we try and move forward
Anger overpowers the thoughts
which stimulate the need to cry
Painful departures lead to an unpleasant mood
Love that once was is no more
It's diffifult to accept the facts of it
Instead of feeling intense pain
One should remain brave
One should remain calm
Death of a loved one is a challenge
Whether it be a mother, father, child, friend, or lover
they will all be missed dearly.
