Missing Someone (The Missing) Poem by Ebhodaghe Godstime

Missing Someone (The Missing)

Rating: 3.0

In bed all day
My heart elsewhere
I listen to the door
If the steps I swear
Might stop to hit my door
But Trudge my heart away

I lie looking my phone
My love's not reachable
Several voices like my love's
Several smells like my loves

I struggled off the bed
Peep through the door
Several moves like my love's
Several shapes in distance
The sounds of mobility
Heralds of false hope

Oh my bloodless war
Though I fight no rival
Tears me yet so raw
My heart feeds on thuds
Makes me wanna stool

The maker gave no strength
To conquer loneliness
Mulling, sighs and thirst
at rest I war, no rest
In silence my soul croons
All I crave is you.
