Misty Mona Lisa Personified Dawn Poem by Terence George Craddock

Misty Mona Lisa Personified Dawn

mist arises dawn born
a misty veil hides dawn
black ink born world
shapes hidden obscured
in mist mist mist veils
light creeps dances in dawn veils
hot orb eye of heaven dawn blinks
wakes into warm warmer hot sun rays

mist veils
retreat fades
into future dreams
dawn mists
dawn waits
dawn birth dawns

amidst dawn veils in shy dawn smiles
is sun smile flashing amidst dawn teary eyes
ambiguous are dawn's fading smile replies

what mist dawn may stay to withstand
sun rays withering flashing bright sun smile
as sun stretches heat claims a hot new day

what is dawn personified
a young mother to new day
a woman sits shadows upright
her gaze is fixed on an observer
a woman fresh mist dawn alive
alive in an unusual atmosphere
sitting in no outlines sfumato
mist lacking outlines ever fades

into background soft blending creates
an ambiguous mood corners of mouth
corners of mist watching dawn eyes
no clearly visible eyebrows eyelashes

amidst dawn veils
in aerial perspective
Mona Lisa shy smiles
lips hint invite a smile
ghost flashing amidst
watching dawn eyes
beauty is in landscape
joy in mist dawn valleys

misty mountains hills
a river and a bridge
as a misty backdrop
an imaginary landscape
accurate depicts mists
mist dawn possibilities

a vast landscape recedes
to distant icy mountains
walk winding dawn paths
across a distant tiny bridge
only the slightest indications
of any awake human presence

view the horizon line level
with dawn's misty eyes
linking dawn's misty figure
with a dawn misty landscape
emphasizing the mysterious
enigmatic nature of misty dawn

Mona Lisa solemn moon
faced has no clearly visible
eyebrows or eyelashes mute
silent a genteel women plucks
eye hairs considered unsightly
sows smooth face mist features

mist veils
retreat fades
into future dreams
dawn mist
dawn waiting
for next birth dawn
