Modesty Poem by Uktamoy Khaldorova

Modesty

I gave my love to the river,
It flew more smoothly than water.
I gave my heart to the world,
The entire night it burned hotter
I looked at the sky with my eyes,
I tuned into happiness with glitter,
I gave a song to the sad dry leaves.
I laughed ringing with shining gold,
I gave my youth to the fields,
There left only the shivering sorrow,
I will not give even my sins to the days,
Which do not feed my grieves, wow.
