Mom Like You Poem by Shirley Loftis

Mom Like You

Some kids are not as lucky as me and have a mom like you are, no matter what I did or do I know you love me and you will always care.
I love being you're only little girl, I love cooking out with you and how goofy you are on the grill.
I know that you are proud of me and how much I have grown, and how much you hate being alone.
God gave me an amazing mom and mom's like you are a precious gift, I love how when i'm hurt or down you always come and give me a lift.
I know I wasn't easy to handle when I was growing up, and I know that you couldn't help we lived in a dump.
I love how are relationship is so strong, and how I don't have to worry about candy doing you wrong.
I love seeing you smile, and how ifi was hurt you would walk a hundred miles to get to me.
I love having you as a mom, and mommy thank God he gave me you and everything he has done...
I love you mom and please never forget that..
