Moments Poem by Ehsan Iqbal

Moments

Rating: 5.0

So a moment flew by
Yet I never waved goodbye
The moment of my extreme anger
All my work it used to hamper

To my friends, I paid no heed
Into the fight, I would lead
My enemies, I would destroy
Every bit of it I would enjoy

And the anger moment flew by
I didn't care about the goodbye
The moment came, of my love
My love, came from above

In her eyes I was lost
My heart had become the cost
But slowly she faded away
And so my color turned grey

And the wonderful moment flew by
My heart would not say goodbye
Descended upon me, the reign of depression
Took away from me, every single expression

I had joined the living dead
Was hanging on by the last thread
My soul had become paralyzed
But slowly my thoughts clarified

And the depressive moment flew by
Hope filled, and my soul rose high
The time for patience then dawned
I travelled through my dreams and beyond

For millenium my hope lasted
Between love and friendship, my heart contrasted
For friendship my patience existed
My love for friendship was then listed

But this moment will never fly by
And I shall never say goodbye
For friendship my heart is beating
The name of my friends, it is repeating

Not all moments are thus evil
And not all feelings are lethal
So have hope until your last dying breath
And stay loyal to friends until your death

For love is the torture and indeed a witchcraft
Because at my broken heart that same love laughed
But still stood at my side my beloved friends
And they will stick with me to all ends
