Money Poem by Pranjal Rajiv Bagadiya

Money

MONEY! MONEY! MONEY!
What is money?

A paper for which everybody yearns,
Those not having their heart burns.
One having it wants more.
No satisfaction.Greed more!
Then, too want MONEY?

A paper with which one can buy anything;
For getting it one can give up everything.
But can money buy love?
Can money buy peace?
Then, too want MONEY?

A paper which gives man a status;
Humans consider it a bonus.
Has mankind become blind? Has he forgotten?
That selfless service gives him true status
In the eyes of GOD.
Then, too want MONEY?

A paper which all wants to seek,
By any means- hook or crook.
Forget the moral values of the life;
Which will help you at the end of your life.
Choice between - MONEY & ETHICS? ?
Then, too want MONEY?

A paper whose holder feels:
He has made his life worth living.
He who never has walked on the path of GOD
After death, who will remember him as a LORD?
Then, too want MONEY?

A paper who has classified mankind:
As rich & poor, a millionaire & a beggar.
How come a paper has that right?
When God made men all alike.
Then, too want MONEY?

A paper who decides the life of man,
As strugglesome or easy-going
As sorrowful or a happy one.
Should we consider this justice of paper?
When indeed our deeds are the right judge.
Then, too want MONEY?

Has mankind no power?
How can it be ever?
Why should one worship money?
Why should one be slave of money?
Oh! This terrible money!
Then, too want MONEY?
