Money Missed Road... Poem by Murtaza Micky Yusuf

Money Missed Road...

One billion dollar was found in your home
When did your home become a central bank
Your car suddenly becomes a bullion van
When did you start printing money
You buried money in a cemetery
Did you think of the people you are burying alive
When money has no legs
Why is no hand ready to claim it
If no one knows the owner of this money
Give it to the Talakawas
Let's ask them how a barber cuts the hair for a bald man
How a blind man goes to the cinema with a deaf and dumb woman
If this money is now crippled
Let me carry it on my back to the money market
