Monster

How low
do i have to go
to get you to see
the monster
inside of me
but you still love me
why
so unconditional
but I'm trapped
in a metal case
made of strings
like a metal puppet
painted in
but your still here
i can see you through the window
in my case
with the thinner
taking away the paint
destroying my monster
