Moods Poem by Vidyadhar Durgekar

Moods

Rating: 3.5

Serenely spread flat blue sea,
Unfurled like a choppy mattress sheen,
In the Cool blowing morning breeze,
With glowing sun’s sparkling shine,
Waves dressed like newly wed bride,
Kissing white sandy shore every tide,
Hiding beneath the mountain height,
Changing season, changing mood,
Warmth transforming into stormy roar,
During monsoon windy cyclone,
Salute turning to slap hitting wet shore,
Serene Love turning into cold rage,
Waves turning to heightened soar,
Dreaded ships and craft turning their oar,
To save them from the seas uproar;
