Moonlight spreads a ghostly glow,
Moonlight makes the shadows flow.
Moonlight is spectral in the night,
Moonlight is a mild and gentle light.

Moonlight and that special one,
Moonlight is for having fun.
Moonlight on the leaves of trees,
Moonlight is the souls release.

Moonlight is spiritually devine,
Moonlight is a fine old wine.
Moonlight no fair weather friend,
Moonlight bathes the promised land.
