Hovering above she watched
Tides of passion surge to crush
Upon the lover's strong chest
Recedes, promising dawn's love gush

Waves of love heave, they sing a song
Falling upon the breast of her lover
Embracing love's shore, confessing the bond
Extolling the truth: true love is forever

The cool night's breeze kissed me
Lady Moon's fixed gaze spoke love
Reached and touched my heart gently
Assuring constant love from God above
