Moonwalk Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Moonwalk

Moonwalk

A look at Himba tribes
Observing their haircuts,
Their cover and clothes
Then city’s; modernized
Proudly claiming: “civilized”
We see us in their hairs.

Will we soon be like them?
Our fashions and our wear?

If so why we claim:
“We know and are better! ”?

It took us many years,
To copy their head’s hair.

Once we will have the gut:
“In brain they are better! ”

I laugh at how we laughed
Insulting these people…
“Savage…Wild”

We have been stupid…
