Moral Poem by Janeth Abreu

Moral

Rating: 4.5

How could you...
I gave in to you, not for you, but for me
My reasons, which were strong feelings for you
You probably had them to but didn't show or express them.
There doesn't go a day when I don't think of you
I try to forget
I try to erase you
because only thinking about you
absorbs life out of me which destroys me little by little.
Everything I do:
staring off into space
hearing words that once came from your lips
missing your warm big hugs
Everything reminds me of you.
I know we didn't say much
but the silent moments were the strongest of them all.
You were to caught up in your world to notice
And thats what killed me silently inside
Hoping one day you would notice the same precious moments I did.
I know its to late now but never to late to say you were my first Love.
