i gave him more than he deserved,
more than he'll ever see.
i gave him more than what he'd come for,
cause what he thought he'd get from me
was lust, with just a dash of passion
thrown in on the side.
he came to take; i gave resistance.
he went away, unsatisfied.
he came to me with fond designs.
he thought i'd play along.
i'd never give him that impression,
but he got a message wrong.
i meant to circumvent intent
his fantasies inspired.
he came to slake his thirst; i passed,
eluding him to soothe his fire.
he came to do such things with me
i never had intended.
i gave him back his decency;
he went away offended.
i gave him more than he deserved:
a conscience free of blame.
returned him to his wife, untried.
he wondered why he came.
