Mother

I won’t believe it…
I refuse to…
You’re fine!
You’re okay!
I know it!
Don’t speak!
I won’t hear it!
Tell me something that I don’t already know!
Don’t leave me!
Don’t go!
I can see it…
It’s coming…
They’re taking you!
Don’t go with them!
Stay with me!
Please!
Don’t take all that I am!
Fight mom!
Fight!
For me!
For Tra!
For Tru!
Please mom!
We couldn’t stand to lose you!
We’d be broken without you!
I’m sorry Mommy!
I’m so sorry!
Please forgive me mommy!
I love you!
Tra loves you!
Tru loves you!
We are all so sorry!
Sorry that it took so long for us to see!
It took you lying on your death bed for us to believe!
You only have one! There will be no other!
She’s my only woman! She’s my only mother!

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
