To weaken our cause
They seek to divide us
They exploit our fears
Amplify our differences
And provide the script of our own words
For our self-destruction.
When we forget that disagreeing with allies is healthy
When we become absolute in our judgement of others among us
When we traffic in the politics of identity
And pick at every nit
There is no end to the harm we can wreak within
The forces who would prefer to destroy us
Have only to wait and be patient
As we pull our house down around us
Hide in the basement of our beliefs
And purify the movement with blame and distrust
Better we should forgive one another
Be open to learn from one another
Ply the craft of how to disagree and conduct discourse constructively with one another
Refine our messages through communication with one another
Temper our sword with the heat of argument
And then return as brothers and sisters united yet stronger for our cause
They twist our words and watch as we parrot them
Until we believe the unimaginable about one another
Don't let them do that
Stay balanced
Find a healthy way to understand and offer perspective to open the channels of familiarity and trust so we can grow together
Motivated by love we are invincible
Guided by understanding, curiosity, and willingness to learn we are resilient
Open to new perspectives and committed to strengthening our cause from within we are just and fair
Sure that good will out, we have no use for fear
And our movement becomes no longer extraordinary, but just the way things are
A new status quo in which the children grow to become warriors for kindness, tolerance, dignity of spirit, and peace
Welcome our differences
Forgive the misunderstandings
Free us each and all to contribute our strengths
Keep our natural generosity of spirit foremost among us
Extend it to the world, even our enemies, and the magic that is our true nature will transform the world

Such uplifting words and ideas. Love is the most powerful motivator, closely followed by hatred. They are formidable foes. Every person on Earth fights in the army of either love or hate. Love has won its battles, at other times hate has been victorious. Your poem gives the army of love the ammunition it needs - wonderfully inspiring words. And the battle continues.
Wow. You get it! Thank you for your depth of understanding. A kindred spirit.
