Mountain Poem by Grasshopper Bot

Mountain

There will always be another mountain
There will always be another challenge
You my friend have to decide
When you have had enough

When can you lay back and watch
Each person run the eternal marathon
Cause this race never stops
It is amusing when you step back

And watch each person on the track
Speeding up towards their goal
Never one to slack
Not knowing its all entering a black hole

One race after another we run
We think we enter the final mile
When life subtly throws a curve ball
And then you have some more fun

One day when its time
You will realise dear child this rhyme
Was a warning in disguise
Its not too late avoid reprise

Sometimes the heart is full
But the mind tells you there could be more
This evil thought needs some reign
Or it will begin your life to rule

There will never be satisfaction
If you are not happy inside
What you are looking for is within you
Sort yourself out and you will look no more

Sometimes we find what we are looking for
And then we let it go
It may not be perfect then
But when we let go we know

It is exactly the one I needed
This been so for evermore
I just wasn't wise enough
The race was long over

My final mountain long conquered
I just have to let go
There are others for other mountains
I just didn't know
