Mouse Trap Poem by John Fenton Mcleish

Mouse Trap

Now that the banks have got you all in debt
No doubt will tighten the money supply
Interest rates sky rocket I bet
Bankruptcies, Repo's, so many will cry

Your government sat back and did nothing
While elites herded you into their trap
They did sell you out for a brass farthing
So naive you fell right into their lap

They may boast about charity they give
But this just to avoid paying their tax
You will bear the burden while they do live
Off the labour of good working men's backs

Vote for them and you give them a mandate
But only taxes and war they create
