Much Too Much Poem by Piccola Topo Gigio

Much Too Much

How much did I love thee,
In thy darkest hours,
Thy blackest shades.
In thy cruelest moments,
Thy most indifferent days.

How did I love thee,
Through thy deepest blames,
Thy ugliest names,
Thy most grotesque displays,
And most humiliating games.

How much did I love thee,
In direst misery,
Thinking it was destiny,
I persisted painstakingly,
Through torment and agony.

Yet still greatly and faithfully, I loved thee,
Against all that, and that which was against me.
