Muddle Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Muddle

Just inborn tot
Scared
Out of its wits
At the same time
As a rebuke
Thrown
Out of heaven
Into the hell
Possibly
Over the earth.

Resisting
To go along with
Crying over
Its entry into
Slowly
Slowly changing
Its moods
Forgetting
All about its past
Conceivably
A good omen
To be happy.

Conscientiously
Appearing to be
Joyful and gay
Miserable and irate
Mystified and scared
Innocuous and guiltless
On the face of it
Reflecting
Such like emotions.

Looking akin to
A potential victim
Responding in frenzy
Funny and smart
At times serious
As regards
Ongoing misuse
Proving
Futile each effort
Of counselling
Training
And teachings
By the guardian
So called custodian
The society that
Goes on disturbing
Its natural development
And growth
With grim impacts
And effects
Upsetting
The whole plan
Plan of dealing
With the victim
Victim of violence
And abuse.

Getting
By the phases
Of illusion
Still struggling
Against evilness
For a better place
To live in
Over the earth.
