Murmurs Poem by Unnikrishnan Sivasankara Menon

Murmurs

Rating: 5.0

Darkness
that is kept awake
By the night's
Unceasing murmurs
of the wind in the leaves
And the silence
of the shooting stars,
Dozes off in the morning cool.
Sun who has her gold
scattered on the street
extends her fingers
to pick them up
From among the rushing waters.
Nobody pauses to look back.

I get unceasing murmers at night, by the trains going by 50 metres away! !

That could be quite disturbing… but I spoke about the murmurs from within.
