Music Box Poem by zier rana

Music Box

'Dum de dum de dum de du..'
The music box suddenly goes quiet
The spinning bellrina look at the moon
With only grief in her face
No matter how much she spins
She won't get any better
Small tears slides down her cheek

And as a door opens
And laughter from down stairs is heard
A crying girl enters the room
Ahe seem so distant
Ahe stands infront of a mirror
She looks at her reflection
'Why...'
Silent tears
From the depths of her heart

A little butterfly outside the window
So beautiful
Her wings in all these colors
But a life so fragile and short
With a fate only days long
If this beautiful creature could cry
She would
Silent tears in the sky

The moon in the sky
She looks down at earth
If she could cry
If she only could tell the poor humans her grief
If only...
If only...

The sound of the music box
That starts playing
The soft music
Through the air
And into the crying human's soul
