Musings - Make Australia More Australian Poem by Paul Warren

Musings - Make Australia More Australian

Rating: 5.0

I was looking at the rallies last weekend
Which I thought could for me offend
The type of Australia that I want to live in
Instead of touting the wages of sin

Do we need to stand up right
And consider what is the fight?
Should we stand for us alone
Or should we practice peace to condone?

I think in the end all Australians should say
That terrorism should not make the day
But tolerance and living together well
Should mean that our national pride should swell!

Shocking rallies last weekend. Many who went lack respect for our country and just wanted to cause trouble. Jimmy Barnes angered over them using his music. We can only hope to change terrorism but we can teach our children to treat everyone equal. Great work.
