When it comes to relationships
Men and women have different views
Sometimes it just comes down to
What one does or doesn't do

Of course each one will deny
What the other claims
Never thinking that, they themselves
Are the one's to blame

Then many things from the past
Get thrown into the mix
Sometimes things are said in haste
Then the relationship can't be fixed

So, before it ever comes to that
Before hateful words fill the air
Remember that it wasn't long ago
For each other you really cared

So, don't throw away something
That doesn't need throwing out
Just stop and think about each other
And what togetherness is all about

Every couple hits a bumpy road
That's just a part of living
Just remember that in life
Along with taking there must be giving
