Rejoice in what your Maker’s planned
Beyond your wildest dream
Your name’s engraved within His hand
And in life’s book supreme

Take care my son walk Heaven’s Way
Leave foolish cares behind
Cast off the things that lead astray
And that which clouds the mind

I see you through a father’s eyes
Both child and full grown man
Be patient now grow strong and wise
Fulfil Salvation’s plan

Let Truth caress your heart my son
Embrace your thirsty soul
Let love complete what Christ’s begun
Towards your unseen goal

Allow The Light to comfort you
Let shadows swift depart
Lift up your eyes through life anew
With Fire in your heart

You hold the keys to all my doors
Your blood runs through my veins
The love I have my child is yours
As long as Jesus reigns

Allow my joy be made complete
Rejoin Salvation’s trail
Together then at Jesus’ feet
Let’s watch the devil fail

I’m standing fore the great unknown
Beyond death’s gaping jaws
Hoping before our Father’s throne
To link my hand with yours
