My Cat Cola Poem by Hannah Davies

I love my little Cola Pops
My love for you is probably over the top
I remember when I first saw you
You came running up to me, what else could I do?

I could take you home then and there
You're black and white with semi-long hair
You have a gorgeous white stripe across your belly
You love the theme music to 'Corrie' on the telly.

You sit there looking so gorgeous and cute
But sometimes you can be such a playful brute
At night you like to crawl up on my bed
And fall asleep on the pillow above my head.

When I'm sick you stay by my side
And under the duvet together we hide
Every morning at 5am I'm awoken
You want your breakfast now, the boss has spoken!

When you do venture outside you don't go far
Which is good for me as don't want you run over by a car
I hope you love me as much as I love you
And together we've many more happy years to get through.
