Attuned to purpose
In you soft padding to your prey,
Dangerous in your electric moves,
I have seen you stalk;
Your intense mass of vibrant life
Is shifting, slickly, through the foliage
Of our home, my forest emotion.
And there is somewhat the predator
In me
To appreciate the deathness in you.
I am caught
In your Jungle Days, and you
Are far removed from me.
