My Companion Poem by Jocelyn Dunbar

My Companion

My intimate associate closely to my heart,
To talk anytime in all the details of my thoughts,
To listen to your words and command, to be humble
Every time uncertain.

My solid foundation, my rock, and my salvation,
Glory to you, Hosanna! Hosanna! Hosanna in the highest!
Personal love, you have given me.

You lift me, given me pleasure to swing to your arms,
The hymn praises to you, surrounded by blue ocean with pure
White clouds, beautiful indeed!
You secure me to the hostile world I am moving and
Hold me to your hands not being shaken by anything.

My deliverance, my hope, my success, and my happiness
Wholly lean on in JESUS name.
