A wise man once said: 'A poet is a liar who always speaks the truth'
I've been known to be wise
A man who speaks the truth and never lies
But I've fallen in love with the devil...
In a woman's disguise
She made me do things I never thought I'd do...
Things that I despise
I've killed in her name without hesitation
I couldn't see the darkness in her eyes
Wearing a fake smile on her face
Sweet words as her disguise
But at the edge of sanity...reason came back to me
At the edge of reality...I've found that lost part of me
This is really good, very good rhyming and so interesting to read... thanks for sharing, a very original poem.
