Morning light
Hope and delight
Smiles, all bright
Searching eyes.
As day goes by
Hope scales high
Smiles and sigh
Searching eyes.
Twilight shines
Hope declines
Smiles hide
Full moon blinks
teases searching eyes.
Midnight dark
Hope dies
Smiles sink
Clouded moon
Searching eyes close
dropping a pearl
gulping the rest
Until the morning next.
