My Dear, You Shine As Bright As Any Star Poem by Adam Harding

My Dear, You Shine As Bright As Any Star

My dear, you shine as bright as any star
That gleams and dances all throughout the night.
I want your love; I've tried with all my might
But still I'm forced to love you from afar.
Oh, how I wish to find out where you are
So I may be with you all day and night;
Elusive is the prize set in my sight,
And so I'll go to have you in my arms.

The world can by so frightening alone,
But there's no need to fear. For very soon
I'll find you and return back to my home
And finally you'll see my love is true.
We'll see the world, exploring the unknown!
Until that time, my journey is for you.
