My Decision Poem by Namita Rani Panda

My Decision

I proudly took the decision of separation
to murder my passionate passion
but while pushing you callously into the flooded river of pain
I lost my balance and fell into it almost drowned
and we both like logs floated in two different directions
for the current of water and gust of wind.
Despite my heart's strong desire to hold you fast,
though you cried for help never did I react,
my better blood and bossy brain forced me to refrain
and I let you get lost in the river of pain
with no chance to be reunited again!
