In a certain light
I see a certain life
These feeling of acceptance
Took me by surprise
My bottom line has sunk below the concrete
I teach, and I preach
But I feel like I ain’t one to speak
Their just dreams that haven’t seen the break of dawn
Yet I feel like a hypocrite,
The way I keep holdin on
The thoughts are vivid
I’m almost afraid of the future yet to come
I catch a glimpse and I smile,
Though I know its so wrong
Not wrong In their eyes,
But that of my own
Cuz the views I choose to see now,
Are mine and mines alone
Their enough to send me over the edge,
If I combine’em with yours,
I might end up dead
So I’ma kill this dream
Before it breathes any life
So I could shut up up,
And prove me right
Cuz my mind was never conditioned
To see what you wanted me to see
I’ve just finally discovered
The true definition of me
